Hiking trip to the highest peak of Pieniny mountains which we offer you includes hiking in the mountains, climbing Wysoka peak and visiting two beautiful river gorges.

Wysoka means the High Mountain – with its merely 1050 meters, it is the highest mountain of the Pieniny range. But don’t get fooled, there is some slopes to climb and there is indeed a gorgeous view from the top. You can admire panorama of nearby Beskidy ranges. Also, when the weather is good, even the Tatras are visible on the horizon.

To climb Wysoka we will first pass tiny but picturesque gorge called Homole. But on the way back we will pass another beautiful ravine called White Water. The hike is undemanding but full of beauty and it offers diversity of different mountain formations. This is one of the most beautiful places in Polish mountains.

During Hiking trip to the highest peak of Pieniny, depending on time of the year, we may visit a mountain shelter or shelter of local sheep shepherds. In the last case you will have a chance to try traditional sheep cheese called oscypek. It is one of the most characteristic local products. Highlanders still produce it in traditional way.
