International Guide Day
February 21st is the International Tourist Guide Day. I am happy to be part of the international guides community. Therefore, in this place I want to show you some of the best moments of my 2024 gorups. I have plenty of good memories so check the photos.
Best tours of 2024
This year I had a wonderful opportunity to take care of a group of British Hikers in the Sudety mountains. That gave me a chance to visit this region for the first time in many years. Moreover, I could visit Georgia again and spend there the whole month with two groups enjoying landscapes, sun and delicious food. With my groups I went also to Jordan, Czechia, Austria, Hungary and I visited many beautiful places in Poland.
This job gives me an opportunity to:
- travel to many interesting places
- share the knowledge, tell the fascinating stories, talk about tradition, history, culture
- meet many intere sting people, both tourists and other guides
- live on the move
- avoid sitting in the office
- enjoy my free time in the most spectacular places of the world
But it is not only a pleasure
I know that my family and friends think that I am constantly on holidays but despite all the pleasures there are also obligations, long hours, difficult sytuations, responsibility and emergency situations in various fieldes. Sometimes I need to go to the hospital with my tourists, sometimes I have to go to the police station, sometimes I have to make a dressing on the wound. One thing is certain! I can never get bored!
SO HERE IS TO ME AND TO ALL MY COLLEAGUES! MAY THE UPCOMING SEASON BE SUCCESSFUL AND PROBLEM-FREE.
