We want to show you the best of Southern Poland during a day trip.
The Lesser Poland is one of the historical regions of Poland. It witnessed some of the most significant events in history of our country. So there are traces of it all around the region. Numerous monuments testify to its importance and glory days.
There are such classics as UNESCO sights and national parks in the mountains. But the real treasures are hidden away from the busy touristy routs. The best of Southern Poland are medieval castles and little towns, wooden architecture, synagogues, old cemeteries, orthodox churches and many others.
To give you the best picture of this region first we will visit two wooden churches inscribed to UNESCO list (Lipnica Murowana, Binarowa). Next we will go to exceptional XVIII century synagogue in village of Bobowa. Additionally we will visit mediaeval castle in Wiśnicz and little town of Biecz. It is called “Polish Carcassone” because it has well preserved mediaevel walls.
Alternatively we can choose visit in Stary Sącz, another small town with picturesque market square and old convent of Sisters of Poor Clare.
We will travel by car from one little gem of the Lesser Poland to another. So we can adjust to your preferences and focuse on those attractions which are the most interesting for you. One thing I can promise, you will see many amazing places.
